Details of the claims registered via the freephone helpline and the CWU Accident Helpline website will be forwarded electronically to CWU Headquarters. The Legal Services Department will set up a claims file in the normal way and forward the relevant details to the local branch. Our approved Panel of Solicitors will also receive the same information electronically and will liaise with the member within 24 hours, the local Branch and CWU Headquarters, with our members benefiting from a more rapid response from us in processing their claims.
When using these services members will be required to provide their Membership number as printed on their card.
This service does not apply to members in the Isle of Man or Channel Islands, alternative arrangements will be made.
