Employers are increasingly aware of the business case for work-life balance.
Having the flexibility to get the right work-life balance improves morale, helps companies with staff retention and enables our members to feel in control of their working lives. There is now legislation that details a variety of ways that can help people achieve a more family-friendly working life.
The are options that allow workers to opt for different hours and patterns and also ways to take addtional paid or un-paid leave. These are in addition to the rights for women to take maternity leave.
