While much of the focus on Project Holborn (SDT in Openreach) has, in recent months, been on attendance, the CWU Head Office team have not lost sight of other issues, most notably Performance Management and Style.
CWU Executive members have visited a number of Management Centres and spoken to members. This feedback is being provided to management and a meeting is being arranged with SMC management.
The CWU recently agreed a revised Critical Defect process in Operations, where it has been proactively and jointly implemented, is proving to be a lot more positive.
It is evident to all however that there is widespread misunderstanding and misapplication of the data derived from iLM and iPOP.
Performance Management is an item on the agenda of the Service Delivery Steering Group scheduled for Monday 14 December 2009. The CWU team will robustly put forward the absolute importance of change.
