- Hands-only Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
The British Heart Foundation have enlisted the help of hard-man actor and ex-footballer Vinnie Jones to help encourage people to learn and use "Hands-only" Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Report Reveals Rise In Carbon Monoxide Fatalities
A new report containing figures of gas-related Carbon Monoxide (CO) incidents throughout the UK revealed that, in the 12 month period between 1 July 2010 and 30 June 2011, there were 50 recorded incidents involving CO poisoning with 25 fatalities in the UK - over three times as many as reported in 2010.
